Top Line Thoughts: If you’re into spy thrillers, this show definitely scratches that itch, but doesn’t do anything particularly different or interesting. This show was perfect for me to have on in the background while I worked. The only issue with that was that I found the show to be unnecessarily complex and confusing, so I definitely didn’t understand every single detail but was able to follow the general plot. They throw in a lot of “spy jargon” and acronyms and terms they don’t really explain but, again, it’s not important to understand every line and detail. Noah Centineo is charming as always which explains a little bit of why everyone is so willing to trust his character and also why he walks around with such a naive confidence. I wouldn’t say it is good by any means, but it’s entertaining and has a shocking final scene that had my jaw on the floor. But you have to accept everything at surface level because once you start trying to dig deeper and poke holes in the plot, the whole thing falls apart. Take or leave this one, but if you’re going to take it, accept it for what it is: an action/spy thriller than isn’t as smart as it thinks it is.
